Is there enough space for me?

"Is there enough space for another hand-letterer like me? Does the world need another graphic designer?"

One of my worst fears is that there isn't enough space for someone like me... That this industry doesn’t need another hand-letterer or graphic designer, or someone who can’t get enough of pink and cats. That there are just so many talented people out there that I can easily be replaced. Little did I know that this is what people call a “scarcity mindset”, and it’s perfectly natural to feel that way.

Lately, though, I’ve been making steps to get over this and one day I listened to a podcast which went along the lines of there being billions of people out there and how it’s only natural that people will share the same loves and skillsets… but there are also a billion opportunities for each and every person. I just got to focus on what I love doing and keep going, regardless of what everyone else is doing!
