One thing I love about OMB (One Minute Briefs) is the amazing community; I met Clare of Ampersand Writing through it, and was over the moon when she sent me a message over Twitter asking if I’d like to work with her on a series of hand-lettered ampersands for her website. I, of course, didn’t hesitate - handlettering and ampersands? Yes please!

So I got to work, scribbling away in my sketchpad and soon came up with a series of ampersands. Each ampersand has its own theme depending on the type of work Clare offered such as copywriting for childcare, beauty, bridal, construction, and fitness. I crafted stories for each one - for example, childcare was of an abstract image of a parent and their child, and fitness was of someone running (which tied perfectly with Clare as she is a runner!)
