It started a few years ago on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, when I decided to take a nap.
I don’t usually take naps - unless I’m in the passenger seat of a very long car journey - but I had a tough week at work and was struggling to stay awake. I was simply exhausted, so after stuffing myself with my mum’s Sunday Roast I dragged myself up to bed and fell asleep.
2 hours later, I felt revitalised.
Ever since then I started to have “Sunday naps”. I can’t live without them! It’s probably not healthy to sleep for 2 hours in the middle of a glorious Sunday afternoon, but I’d choose that then experiencing burnout again. Why hustle hard when you can sleep instead?
